Did anyone else hear the chorus of Ice crashing down in the Red today?? We saw some really cool Ice formations early on but by lunch time all we heard was crash after crash of ice coming down with a few close calls. Anyone else see anything cool today?

there were a bunch of formations down in muir that came down yesterday in muir. We lovingly referred to them as deathsiccles :) Fortunatly today we didnt get rained on by ice, we just heard it crashing everywhere else. We did see a cool formation that went through one of the bolts on the trail leading down to muir. I wish i'd had a camera. It was super neat!

my dad was killed by ice today. unfortunate, i know, but the chorus of ice falls was so magnificent and wonderful and magical!!!! i loved the part where it transitioned into scarlet begonias and jerry came out of the stinky logs and started jamming on his acoustic and then punks with mohawks smashed his head in with cans of pbr. it was so magnificent and wonderful and magical!!!! the chorus that is!!!! i loved the chorus scene in my 4th grade performance of, "the wolves have teeth" in which i played a beautiful and wonderful and magical and marvelous baby boy who was slaughtered by wolves with icecicles for teetch! it was so radical and awesome!

It would have been cooler had you seen a bunch of formations down in Muir that came down yesterday at Roadside.

That woulda been a cool trick.

we climbed at the Arsenal at Muir yesterday and wore our helmets b/c of the ice. not to bad by the routes but the little bit of the trail out left of the climbs was covered with ice from above.

The ice at drive by was in the trees so just about everywhere you stood was a potentian fall zone.
