Does anyone know of a really cheap Internet retailer that sells these? I'm going nuts trying to find anything out there under $12 a pair...

Go to Froogle.
Ray showed me this cool new addition in Google's advanced options. Scroll down to the beta Froogle and type "smartwool socks"...or whatever you're looking for. All retailers and prices get searched. It's pretty darn cool.

if you cant find them for cheap they are still worth the big bucks.the first to pair i had i wore so much the heals wore thin.i took them back to the store i bought them from,they sent them back and smartwhool sent me store credit for two new pair. they have a one year warrenty.
