"Try Hard" the video

Post by ray »

I'm posting this for Noah:
============================
Friends, Climbers, Countrymen,

Hi, it's Noah (Kaufman.)

The purpose of my email is to pursuade you to check out the video I
created during my extended fourth year of medical school. It is a
climbing video filled with climbing at some of the most exotic locations
North America has to offer. You'll see the limit of human physical
performance reached when the hardest climbs in the world get done in
such beautiful places as Squamish, B.C.; Joe's Valley, UT; Bishop, CA;
Horse Pens 40, AL; Hueco Tanks, TX, Rocky Mountian National park, CO,
etc. Try Hard documents many never before seen on film boulder problems
such as Lounge Lizards, V11; Lucky Charms, V11; God Module, V11 etc.
You will also see the hardest indoor climbing ever, replete with Chris
Sharma's dominating performance at the now legendary first-ever PCA
(Professional Climber's Association) competition held in Salt Lake City,
UT.

But wait, there's more! For the first time ever, slacklining, the new
craze, is revealed! This video contains amazing footage of high line
walking, backflips off the line, crazy pool tricks, etc. There is also
the most amazing MILK CHALLENGE scenes you've ever seen. (Get a buddy to
try to drink a gallon of whole milk in an hour, and film the process.)

The video contains all original music by local artists Jeff Sutton, and
others. It is 80 minutes of excitement, heart-pounding action and
killer original music.

Anyway, if you're even mildly interested, check out a preview of the
film at: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Forest/2021/ also see film
stills, get more info, and buy the film with a major credit card (if
you're stoked) at: http://www.geocities.com/tryhardvideo/main.html

I hope this email doesn't come unwelcome to anyone, my sincere apologies
if such is the case. The proceeds of the film will go to charity (after
cost is re-couped).

If you know anyone who likes climbing at all, this video has all the
hardest stuff (>20 V9-V14s) and biggest names (Chris Sharma, David
Graham, Jason Kehl, Matt Wilder, Cedar Wright, etc.) , verily, it is the
perfect gift (at a great price!)

also, if you know anyone who might be interested in the film, please
forward this mail to them. You won't get money or good luck, but I'll
pass some good karma on your way.

Thanks for your time and I hope you are living well and realizing your
potential in whatever you are doing,

Noah Kaufman

I saw most of this at Hound Ears last week. Very, very cool. One of the better climbing videos out there for sure. If I owned a VCR (or even had a place to live other then the truck), I would have gotten one for sure.

Wes, you mean we can't put a TV/VCR in the xterra, all the soccer moms have them in their SUV's  the movie was great and if it wasn't for the rain i would have watched the entire thing. maybe someday when we decide to get a home that doesn't have hub caps we will buy a copy.

we picked up a copy of this at the pheonix bouldering comp. it is worth watching for the slacklining alone. that is awesome. however this is no dosage, it doesn't have super close ups or slo mo replays. it is just tons of problems all over the place. it is really long too. i have found that it is best to watch in installments. so it is better as 3 or 4 short video's rather than one long one.
