With the year rapidly coming to a close can anyone post their highlights of the year regarding the Red and associate climbing community. For me it would be enjoying the bounty of new routes in the Sore Heel area as well as Muir Valley, the sweeet times surrounding the mega successful Roc Trip and the presence of world-class climbing talent and vendors and of course Buster's foot fetish posting.

for me it was finaly breaking the 12 grade, meeting even more great people, finally having enough money to donate to the pmrp and muir, and of course all the precious work hours wasted on this site. Happy new year

Attending the Access Fund's National Climbing Management Summit in Golden and getting to climb Yellow Spur in Eldo afterwards. RocTrip in general but especially getting to watch Fusilier on the FA of 50 Words. Meeting many new people and hanging out with many old friends.

The support and constant encouragement I've received from my climbing community during this long, sad year!

Liz and Rick, Ames and Matt, Jeff and Theresa, Eric, Amy, Charlie, Wes, Jesse, JR, Amy, Rags, Mike, Alan not really Evil, and Sweet Yasi driving 3 hours just to help me get back on rock! If I've forgotten anyone, I'm sorry.

Your love and sweet messages and have helped me heal in so many ways this year!

Meeting and climbing with Lynn Hill for an entire day. Highlight to finally meet a climbing hero of mine.

The highlight for me was getting back into climbing after a long absence. I forgot how much fun it could be. Mostly though it was renewing friendships and aquaintances with other old schoolers and meeting new friends. Plus theres way more new routes to get on now, not just the same old climbs from before.

Moving back to Kentucky for awhile...the birth of my daughter of course and then taking her climbing for the first time when she was three weeks old! Our first camping trip when she was 4 mos old! And me leading an 11b (notice I didn't say SEND - just attempting it was huge for me!).

getting to live at the Red, five minutes from sweet crags like Sky Bridge and FRC. I had a blast this fall. Roctrip was amazing; coming home to see the culmination of many people's hard work... was phenomenal. Definitely the best sport climbing in the world, in my opinion.

meeting lots and lots of great people. spending 3 weeks living at the red. climbing in 10 states + canada. placing in my first competition. learning to lead trad. bouldering trips. my first multi-pitch (flatiron #3 - wow!). helping with the U-Climb clinic, Rock-trip, the the RRGCC in general.

hard to pick just one thing - 2007 was great!
