So how much money do I have to make to reach the point where I feel I need to send people I barely know holiday greeting cards with Olan Mills type photos of Michelle and myself wearing sweaters and smiling with the words "Happy Holidays from the Ellingtons" at the bottom?

this kinda reminds me a story I heard before

You know you've really made it when, you put away the sweaters, and begin wearing cardigans.

actually if you could all send me a card with the sweater/cardigan pose I would greatly appreciate it. It really makes the people I do know think that I am someone special when I have a wall full of important (looking) people in sweaters posted up. Pictures of dogs with cute hats on are also welcome, children too, only they don't make me look as important however I can always make up a story about the owner so it is not a big deal.

ps, I will return the favor if you want, I clean up nicely, I promise.

You can divorce yourself from the madness by telling people that you simply don't do Christmas. I cut kids a break though.

once you make enough to shop at a store that carries the same style of sweater in everyone's size. one's for the dogs to.

i personally hate when people include the stupid mutt, cat, hamster, and even an iguana in that shit. pets don't give a rats ass aboyut the holidays, jhust the scraps.
