Michael Robison: AKA, ZSPYDER

This morning on his way to work Michael Robison (zspyder) was killed in a car accident when an oncoming car swerved to avoid hitting a deer and hit Michael head on.
For those that don't know, Michael was a wonderful individual who stepped up 10 years ago as one of the original partners of Hoosier Heights. Had he not been there then, Hoosier Heights may not be here today. Some of you only knew him as zspyder here on the board, but to many of us he was the one to first introduce climbing to our lives. He is one of the main reasons that I and many others have such a passion for climbing today.
My deepest sympathies go out to Michaels wife and daughter.
zspyder you will be missed, but not forgotten.

Oh, my god. He may have pushed some buttons here, but he really was a great guy. I'll miss you, man.

it's never good to hear of news like this. I never knew him but did know of his aversion to the quote button. Every post of his that I saw looked like this

I'm sorry to hear about this accident and want to send my sympathies and condolences to his family as well. He sounded like a great guy who stepped up to bring climbing to an area that didn't have any.

Heartfelt wishes to his family. I knew him only by his spicy posts, so horrible to hear this news about him. Makes me remember the truth in teaching new drivers that between an animal and a man/automobile, go ahead and hit the animal. Rest in peace.

That is really bad news. I am so sorry for his wife and daughter. May they find solace in the consoling embrace of their family and friends.
