i bruise super easily and, bec i'm so fair skinned, it shows up really well. this past weekend i got a few more and one of them is extra ugly.

has anyone tried one of those bruise creams? they claim it'll speed up the healing process - but on the other hand they're pricey to say the least. (one brand is $75 for 1 ounce! yikes!) i'd like to know if they work before i fork out my hard earned dough.

specifically:
- do they really make the color go away faster?
- does the tenderness underneath go away faster or is it just cosmetic?
- what brand(s) work?

Why don't you just ice it? Icing reduces swelling and decreases the rate of bleeding under the skin.

Are you really willing to spend 75 dollars on something that doesn't matter, like a bruise.

75 Dollars will buy you Guitar Hero three, and then you can send 8a like me.

no ice available at the crag. - i do try to ice when i can.

i was hoping that there'd be some sort of $10-20 version that would have the same results. i'm definately not willing to spend $75 on a cosmetic issue.

you can get creams at the health food store with vitamin k in them that help with bruising... ask at Good Foods, Josie.
