The wheel of life, V16, 68 moves.

Links up a bunch of separately insane problems, v13s and v12s and such. Anyway, looks like amazing movement.

does anybody else see something odd about the phrase V16, 68 moves? I watched the vidoe, its super cool looking but just because its without a rope doesn't mean it a boulder problem. that thing should have a YD rating.

Thats why the french have a traverse rating. You should know that Rob.

well it definitely isn't a traverse. But maybe it should have a yd rating. At any rate, I think that this technicality is important enough to devote a few pages of intense discussion to it. so....go!
Actually one thing it made me wonder was: so v8/9 + v15 = v16? really? I guess he would know better than I would what those upper grades feel like, since he's climbed confirmed v14 in Europe, but v8/9 moves don't really seem like they could add an entire grade's space of difficulty, especially at that level. Again though, it's not really important. Cool problem, huh?

I do think it counts as a traverse, but thats why the french have the same grades for boulders and routes.

DAB! I saw his chalkbag touch the ground a couple times. May not sound like much, but for that guy it's half his body weight.

What's with the knee bar? Climbing is about climbing, not resting.
seriously, he has some serious endurance. I wonder if his heart rate ever gets above 140 beats/min.

Chalk bad hitting the ground while climbing, we can't have that. Take a tip from a former caver, get a shovel.
