Goodbye, Eva

We had to put our dog Eva to sleep this a.m. after she suffered some dog stomach problems that were inoperable and terminal. It sucks. She really was the best dog we’ve ever had (collectively, and we’ve had a lot of dogs!). She wasn’t much of a dog’s dog, as Dakota and Kenney’s dog can attest to, but she still was pretty damn cool.
We might need to come scratch your dog and toss a ball sometime soon…

i only met her a couple times but she did seem really sweet. When I dropped the holds off this summer she just looked at me through the window, no barking, no protecting her territory. I thought it was the sign of an animal at peace with its surroundings.

It was so sad and confusing to hear since just a few nights ago I saw her running around your yard barking at a ball.
I'm really sorry to hear of your loss.

Man I am so sorry Hugh and Di. Eva was an amazing dog who was truly great with the kids. She was a beautifully caring creature.
