tried to go to Pebble Beach the other day and the gate on 9 was closed and locked. don't know why but there you go, or don't go. whatever. Gates locked.

I couldn't find anything about it on the Forest Service website but I think I remeber them mentioning that they needed to do some road maintenance and were going to try to get it done before fall.

The Damaged area of FS Road 9, which was repaired last year, will Close once more
to Vehicular Traffic for Two Weeks for Additional Repair. Starting on this Date:
Monday, September 17th, 2007

climbed at pebble beach last weekend, no problem with a locked gate.
