If you have car trouble

and need a mechanic, head to Beattyville if possible.
My brake light came on on the way to the Red on Wed.
I added fluid and kept going. Thursday we figured wwe had better take care of the brakes. I crawled under and took a look and there was brake fluid all over the left rear. This was at DriveBy. I had taken the hill down with my left foot hovering over the emergency brake  .
So anyway, we head towards B-Villle, stop at the payphone on Main and call "Judds". I tell the guy what's up and can they help me out?
He says: "You need to talk to Mike, and he's not here. Call back later"
I says: "Uh, sure"
We go down Main Street, right past the Courthouse is a small station. I see the guy is working on a car and pull in. I tell him what's up and he says : "Sure we'll take care of ya"
Now it's absolutly beautiful out on Thursday, it's 1pm, and I just know I am going to be waiting around till at least 4 until we are back on our way.
We go sit in the truck and 10 minutes later, the guy pulls out the car he was working on, tells me to pull mine in, and by 2pm we were headed back to climb with a new brake line and fluid.
I go to pay the bill expecting at least $60 and he says $32.00
$12 was for parts and $20 was labor. I gave him $45 and told him to keep the rest as a tip.
Man these guys were great.

Now as far as the rest of the folks in town go, you'd of thought they've never seen a person with three tattoos before. I went to the library to ck email, and I thought the woman was going to turn to stone from her obvious dis-taste for my presence :P

Cool! Thanks for the heads up on that! Do they do work on foreign cars as well, or just domestic? Sometimes Subaru parts are not easy to get.

I'd imagine they do. The guy just took off walking about 5 buildings down to the auto parts store to get the steel line. there are at least a couple of parts dealers in town.
