or not!
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- An elementary school has banned tag on its playground after some children complained they were harassed or chased against their will.

"It causes a lot of conflict on the playground," said Cindy Fesgen, assistant principal of the Discovery Canyon Campus school.

Running games are still allowed as long as students don't chase each other, she said.

Fesgen said two parents complained to her about the ban but most parents and children didn't object.

In 2005, two elementary schools in the nearby Falcon School District did away with tag and similar games in favor of alternatives with less physical contact. School officials said the move encouraged more students to play games and helped reduce playground squabbles.

it is unfair to the fat kids. no reason to make a 7 year old feel uncomfortable about being morbidly obese.

ok kids. its time to take our video game break. no need to move, just stay in your seats, your controller is under your desk. if you need assistance in raising your desk let me know. snacks can be ordered from krispy kream or mcdonalds at this time, may i suggest a big mac, just text *330. we have also programmed the games so no one loses and gets their feel bads hurt.

Gee!

Red Rover will be next. "I don't want my child made fun of because they can't break through the chain!"

It's amazing to me that we survived childhood at all! Rolling around in the back of the family station wagon, eating popsicles with wooden sticks, playing on the teeter tooter, using sharpie scissors, getting my feelings hurt.

I guess that means that Tunnel Tag is out, because crawling between someone's legs to set them "free" would be considered sexual harrassment or something. Oh yeah, and fat kids couldn't fit through so it's discriminatory. shit. Keep them all just sitting on their asses playing video games and developing Metabolic Syndrome X/Type II diabetes.

That brings back memories :) but that was called "Freeze Tag" where I came from!

No more TV Tag, or Octupous Tag, or Line Tag, or any other tag varriant. They've already taken away most teeter-totters & merry-go-rounds. but at least we can be confident that since the elimination of Tag, the children will be happier.

It's amazing I survived playing with snakes, falling out of trees, skateboarding without pads, biking without a helmit, cliff diving and all that other stuff kids arent alowed to do anymore.
Good thing we got a bunch of gaywads making up stupid rules so kids can't have fun and get some sunshine.
