okay...so i am putting this in training because i don't want it in the pit...even though it really has little to do with climbing.

i am training for a 100 mile ultra the weekend of the petzl roc trip. bad timing for me. i am trying to raise money for a local bloomington family. please check out the website...

and many thanks to josh and the crew at hoosier heights for their unbelievable support.

It's great that the response to the effects of a mitochondrial disease is to run an ultramarathon! (What's the opposite of irony? anti-irony?)

Is this the Lighthouse Academy where Jacob was going to school?:

Man, climbing isn't an ExTreMe!!!!! sport, marathoning is a real extreme sport - Good luck!

That is inspiring, both the family and what they have had to endure, and your vision of how to help. Best of luck with your run, and all the best to the Krebbs.

please know that i do NOT post the following link to applaud myself. i am quite embarrassed by it all actually...

BUT rather i just hope to bring this journey back to the fore. i know there are many worthwhile causes out there, but if you feel moved to give to this one that would be awesome.

if you can't spare anything right now, i totally understand. maybe pause on the 13th and send some good vibes westward 8)

regards.

Yeah, while we're all drinking and having a good time, you'll literally be running. Best of Luck, Ron!
