That's sad. I remember getting my first gear downtown and getting the latest routes to check out from Ed Pearsall. He was an amazingly energetic guy, perfect hands-on salesman.
Not to belittle anyone since, but the thought of climbing in KY was pretty new to most of us then and having a store with top end gear and staffed with real participants instead of clerks was cool. I hope everyone will consider checking out J & H before they're pushed aside.

No, 2.05 million in sales last year and they couldn't stay in business. Something is wrong there. Look at John's, he is a local merchant who is thriving. Oh well, J&H should do well.
