Cant find that book anywhere!! (Red River CLimbing Guide)

Post by Marshy »

Me and my friend went climbing at the gorge on the 4th for the first time.
We had a pretty sweet time and want to go again, but it would be really helpful to have The Red River Gorge: A Rock Climbing Guide by Ray Ellington.

Too bad they are sold out everywhere since they are coming out with a new edition in the fall. That doesn't help us since we need the book now since we are going to be climbing at the gorge this summer mostly. Can anyone help me. If you know anywhere that has copy's or want to sell your copy to me that would be great. This may be a futile attempt but I really want this guide.

Thanks,
Gabe

What city do you live in? I imagine there are plenty of people that would be willing to part with the treasured book for the right price.

Have you tried the online guide and a printer. It makes you feel good becuase not only did you get a guide, but you get to take money out of rays pocket. Its the best of both worlds.

Amen brother. The online guide gives the most up to date info, and has the cute little beta comments available. Skip Rays book and just make a donation to the PMRP fund so the wonderful routes will be available to you in the future.
Ray don't need no mo' money. He just goes out and spends it on dope and women.

I have four for sale I've been meaning to put up on the site, just haven't had the time. $30 each and that'll include shipping within reason (no out of country, etc.). The book retails for $34.95. All money donated to Red River Outdoors and Wolverine Publishing is who to thank.

Send me a PM if interested.
