Hello, just climbed a bolted route that is 2 bolted routes to the left of Jump for Joy. Anybody know what this route is? My partner thinks maybe it's new? Wasn't sure if it was Fadda, but that's the closest I can figure from the guidebook.

Thanks for the info, we're just curious. :?

Maybe http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... hp?id=1291 ? Really hard start up a cool feature, to easier climbing and kinda crap rock above?

Wow. We would have been totally psyched if it had been Science Friction. Maybe in our dreams, though. We've been out of the woods a while and just getting back started. Think smaller numbers. Thanks for the flattering suggestion, tho! :D

Lots o' little pockets, with the last few feet getting a bit thin.

Then that is Fadda. The line between the it and Jump for Joy is Motha, and is trad, but has anchors. Unless someone has added bolts to it.

Fadda 10a, but its the next bolted route over, but the second route over. Unless someone bolted motha

Your description fits Fadda.

Maybe someone did bolt Motha - the description in R. Ellington's guide book for Motha and Fadda sure sounds like both the lines we were at the other day, except that the line that looks like Motha is bolted.

Thanks bunches for the feedback - happy climbing! :)

As of June 5th, Motha had not been bolted.
