Hey all:

The RRGCC Board of Directors Meeting will be held July 1, 2007 at 9 am at Torrent Falls under Paranoia and is open to the public. Anyone ATTENDING the meeting is allowed to climb at Torrent before and after the meeting. Dr. Bob has kindly allowed the RRGCC to hold all meetings there and to bribe people into participating by allowing them to climb at Torrent.

We will be discussing how to draft volunteers to assist in land management of the PMRP. It's about 750 acres and too big for one man to handle on his own...even Mark Jackson.

Come one come all. Participate or just listen. Come see what we do! We'd love to have you.

Make sure people have to stop climbing to attend the meeting or you will have people who show up only to climb skipping the meeting.

Sax, I fully believe this isn't a scenario that will happen. Torrent isn't that big that everyone can't hear Morgain blow her whistle to start the meeting. On top of that, Dr. Bob (the owner of Torrent) will be present.

In my never ending research I discovered that in the era of the L. Park Hotel, Sunday services were held by the falls. To ensure that everyone could hear the sermon, the preacher was suspended in front of and above the congregation by cables attached to a chair. This fits perfectly with the discussions we had during our Board retreat about approaching what the RRGCC does as a religion. Thus during our meeting we will suspend Dr. Bob, our tutelary leader, from the anchors of Paranoia so his sermon can be heard by all.
