I-75 South through Cincy

If you're traveling south on I-75 going into KY, they are down to ONE LANE from 9pm Fri - 5am Mon. It took 25 minutes for me to go 2 miles.
If anyone knows how long this will go on or an alternate route, please post.

I don't know how long it's supposed to go on, but our alternate route worked pretty good. Since the lane that is getting closed first is the right hand lane all the traffic stacks up in the next lane over. So, continue down the rightmost lane as if your going to be the jerk that cuts over at the last minute.

Then exit at the Freeman Ave exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp and within a few hundred yards bear right onto Linn St. (You'll see an overhead sign pointing to Linn). At the next light turn left. You'll notice some signs at the light saying "To 1-71/75 South". Follow the signs which take you over the Daniel Carter Beard bridge (I think that's the name) into Covington. Hop back onto I-75 (again follow the signs to I-75).
Hope that helps!

You could always go south on I-75 for one exit to Winchester road and then hit new circle. Take new circle over to Newtown Pike (KY-922 I think) and head north back to I-75. That will get you past most of it.
Hope that helps,
Brad

Gotta love Google Maps.

This is the way I've been taking to avoid the construction. It's probably only 10 minutes slower than taking the highway when there's no contruction.
Weird, though - I was driving along that part of 75 last night around 10:30, and I drove right through - there was no traffic or even any sign of construction.
Dana: looks like for Louisville you could go one exit past the Georgetown exit on New Circle and hit 64-West by way of Highway 421/62? I haven't tested that detour, though.

First exit off I64 after you come off the Parkway - 627N towards (and thru) Paris.
Gets a little confusing in Paris.
You'll slow down at the entrance to town, water tower on the right, go over the tracks, thru the first light, take a right at the second light (one way), and a left at the next light.
Drive straight for maybe 5 miles and you'll see a BP staion on your right as well as another water tower.
There is a light here, go straight thru it and you are on 460 west.
This will bring you out at the Georgetown exit.
A bummer exit though 'cause you have to follow the signs to I-75.
Basicly a right for 2 miles, a left at the light, and a right merge onto I-75 North.
Yas, if that's what's on your map link, sorry, didn't look at it.
Oh yeah, a lot of nice horse farms on this route.
