Speaking of downtime...

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I have searched and searched the forums and found nothing. Looking to see who pays for this site, all I’ve been able to dig up is a thread that may or may not have been an April Fools’ joke about a climbing magazine buying all of redriverclimbing.com out.

So, does administrator Ray pay for everything out of his own pocket? Or has he in the past?
If so I’d give him a few bucks, as the time I’ve spent browsing the guidebook this week alone is worth that.

Does the RRGCC help pay for this site? ‘Cause they get my $$$ regardless, and I’d feel less guilty wasting hours searching the forums if I thought I’d helped pay a little.

I love not being distracted by advertisements when looking for Red River info/gossip/beta/friends, and I really hope this site stays like this forever (said like they do in ‘The Sandlot’).

Thanks for all your hard work, administrator-type-webhosting-payers-for. :D

Ray and Michelle pay for everything, Ray even bought a nice dell server a year or so ago. All runs from his house. He even moved everything to cinci for a week when we had the ice storm and lost power a few years ago.

So, they rule for sure, Ray is partial to good bourbon if you want to show some thanks...

SabraMike,

Thanks for your thanks. Michelle (my wife) and I do pay for this site but it is really not much money. Your thanks alone makes it worthwhile.

Oh yea, your website freaked me out. :) I think Michelle thought I was looking at porn.

That is a nice website but $365 for a strap on harness is a bit much.
