Spring PMRP Trail Day

Post by captain static »

Your help is needed in building and maintaining trails on the PMRP. A Spring PMRP trail day is being organized by the RRGCC for Sunday, April 1, 2007 that will focus on needed climbing trail maintenance in the Coal Bank Hollow area. One of our goals in 2007 is to develop a trail crew that can devote one weekend a month to trail activities and other work needed to maintain the property. If you are interested in participating in this trail day or being part of the trail crew please e-mail Mark Jackson (snakejackson(at)gmail.com) or send a PM to "Snake".

Just to remind folks the grant from the state, that Matt Tackett applied for, does still apply. The coalition stands to receive 50 cents on each dollar spent in the developement of trails. To put it another way if we log $1000 in expenses the state will "reimburse" us $500. This means that if you bring tools log them in we can count them as though we had rented them, when you spend time let us know (ie sign in and out) we can count the time donated as cash spent towards reimbursement.

In this life you may be vilified by your peers for your actions today but it is the legacy that you leave that counts.

caribe is in. I personally won't be able to make it but I was thinking people could meet at the Coal Bank kiosk around 9am & could work until 5 or 6pm. Snake doesn't lurk on this bbs too much so I'll send him an e-mail to make sure he is monitoring this thread.

tomdarch, what can we say, Tackett's a pretty charming dude!

It's a matching/reimbursement grant so everything we put into it they cut us a check for half that to be applied to trail efforts. Pretty good gig, really.

Is this thing still on? If so, have the details (meeting time/place) been confirmed?
