Hi there I used to rappel in the gorge a while back but injury prevented me from continuing to enjoy this great sport. I am now back in the area and would like to get back into it. I was wondering if anyone would possibly like to go out with me sometime. I am very safe and always wear my gloves. you can pm me or just reply on this thread.

That's a lot like asking Richard Petty if he wants to ride the car outside the Dime Store. Sorry Gabe

Yeah Gabe, why don't you learn to climb and THEN rappell. Jesse, you're dead on!

rapelling is an unnatural act. climbing something makes sense, walking backwards off a cliff doesn't

a 5.14 rapper. Seriously Gabe, if you like rappeling you should try climbing. Book a day with RRO. It's worth the cash. You can rap and climb and get out in the woods and you don't have to buy any more gear than what you have. A bunch of us started that way.

Well the thing is that i'm not in good shape. I dont think that I could climb the stuff that I see in those pics. The holds look really small. Besides it's more fun going down than going up right??
