Do any of you runners or just observant people on here know of a good hills in/around Lexington that's good for hill sprints? I'd like a good stretch of a steep hill.

You like downtown? Try the hill on Upper between Vine and High, it's pretty steep.

come to Louisville (when I am not sick anymore) and I will show you some hills of death. In a variety of settings: Cherokee, Waverly, Jeff. Memorial, Iroquois.... the list does go on!

Yes, Meadows. Us observant people know it's there.

Run along the fence
line from the bottom corner (think intersection of Alumni and Tates Creek) up
to the water tower. It would be a good hill on which to start running repeats.
It's long, but not very steep. Once you get conditioned for the hills, then try
the Castleton hill. It's about 150-200m long and steep. The loop is about
400m around. You will grow to hate it. I only had to run Penas Bay hill for
one workout - for that I am grateful.

If you're ever in the Richmond area, all of the roads in "the Bull" golf course / sub-division. Avawam Dr. is a loop of exactly 5.5 miles, about 0.5 of it is flat. It hurts, alot.
Trail running at Raven's Run, has tons of hills. Especially the Yellow trail. MMMM good.

First, thank you all for the areas outside of Lexington, but running just isn't exciting enough for me to travel for it (other than a big race).
Mazz: Terry once said to me, "Meadows, you'd be oblivious to flashing neon signs." That said, how do I get to Castleton Hill? I'm ready for steep.

Head down Armstrong Mill, turn left at the bottom of the hill on to Greentree.
Look for Castleton Way about a quarter mile on your left.
