How do you think it is a misuse of power on her part? She isn't limiting what this fool is saying, she just doesn't want to be considered having the same views as this climatologist. I think it is perfectly understandable from her political perspective. I wonder how he even still has his job!

Not only that, but he was originally used because his support helped the global warming cause. he received a title but no cash. Its not too hard to read between the lines on this one. I have little doubt that some company came in a funded him by some ridiculous amount to reconduct his research, just to verify the "reproducibility" of his former results. He may then use his title to pull some weight.

Back on the lines, I agree with dmw, minor did nothing to stifle his free speech, she just made it clear that her administration does not agree with him.

I guess global warming is not all bad, all sorts of good things can come from it
