I have been in Louisville for about 6 months now and have not yet been to rocksport since I have been back. Is there anyone that goes to the gym regularly or would like too durring the week that would be willing to trade a few catches?

I live in the highlands, and work everyday until at least 4:30.

There is almost always someone there that can belay you if you just ask. If you can't find anyone, Rocksport has several good boulder problems left from the comp.

There is also a crew that goes in on a regular basis every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Just introduce yourself and ask to jump in, they are all pretty nice. I am up there sometimes. If you see my name, Patrick Owen, just ask around for me and I would be happy to trade catches with you.

I would love to get in there on regular nights, but my schedule is too crazy to have any kind of continuity...

the universal climbing nights at climbing gyms...Tuesdays and Thursdays.

you could also make the trek to Hesters..... but after Friday the holds will all be stripped in prep for their comp next weekend

There's a comp at Hesters next weekend? Any info like cost, payouts, classes, etc?

Hesters is way too far out of my way. I like rocksport cus its reasonably close, only their boldering usually kills me.

You could ask TankAzz, she always knows the most about the comps..... It is on the 24th.... last year I think it cost 25 to register..... don't know what the prizes are. Surely someone here will know that info.

Umm I normally sit behind the desk at Rocksport... if we are dead and you need a catch I can probably get you on a few things but what would probably be more helpful is i can point you towards some nice folks that would trade catches all night. Don't be shy and ask for help...
