I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

We'll be back in time for Ouray, and we have some friends from Michigan that are going to crash at our place on the way, but I don't know if Sarah and I will actually go to the festival or not. We may still go and do stuff outside of Ouray during the day, like around Silverthorn etc. Are you going to the fest?

Edited 1 time so as to not sound elitest.

Most of the pros are locals and I climb with them on a somewhat regular basis so that's not a big deal to us and personally I'd rather avoid drunken warriors in a slot canyon dropping large chunks of ice on each other. yeah. i'm going to the fest, and i don't even care if you refer to me as a drunken warrior...and your friends from michigan (lisa & chris) are sharing a place with me and my wife. small world, eh?

take care and have fun bouldering down south.

regards.

edited to add -- i won't be dropping ice on anyone. this ain't my first rodeo.

Ron, are you riding out with Chris and Lisa and crashing at our place? They need to do what we like to call in the biz as "communicate".

Piggie, I'll drop my tool on you.
