Evolv Sharma Sig Shoe

Post by Crankmas »

seems Sharma's efforts at Evolv have turned into a signature model shoe named after that water solo thingy- from those I know that run the chaos or something like that I hope they've improved the heel cup... will it sell?

only since its you.....

sell out ? how do you sell out by going to a mom and pop shoe company that im sure isnt paying him near what 5.10 could and did have. the evolve guys are as far away from big market consumerism as you can be. kick ass company with laid back attitudes, plus their shoes and rubber really do kick ass.

try again pigsnuts

amen, i find evolv higher quality and all around better than 5.10. plus they offer far more customizeable shoes than 5.10 so id say its moving more to a better shoe than selling out.

yawn...only because it is you..
so you are saying the cool brahs at evolv don't have dreams of ruling the sticky rubber world...dream on..they are all about consumerism.

why would they even sponsor Sharma..to sell more shoes..duh. 100% commercial motives.

that being said, I love evolv shoes..I just am able to see beyond the idiotic "vibe" that so many poseurs try to push...being "laid back, cool, and no worries" is so, 2000.

being a dirty old man, angry at the world with irritable bowel syndrome is that latest angle du jour...catch it.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

brah, i have been a card carrying gumpy dirty old man since i was 3. your late on that one, welcome to sloppy seconds brah. no, i take that back. how can you be a grumpy old man with a sig line like yours. poseur in both groups.

first, 5.10 has kick ass shoes and service, even some of my sportivas have .10 rubber on em and i have owened a lot of their catalog. now on to soap box just for shits and giggles. evolve has matured into the company they are because they have a kick ass product and staff. a lot of companies never mature and only become big due to marketing and gimmicks. i hope evolve does take the market. shoes are moderatly priced with high price performance and durability. its good to see small shops get some respect in a mass market/big money world is all im saying.

i dont know and am prob wrong but i bet evolve is paying sharma less. maybe not, maybe he has a big fat contract and will sit back and use his 100's to roll up one in malorca saying"damn, i may be a sell out but im having much more fun than you........"
