Rocktown Beta Sharking

Post by soccerfast007 »

Dking, Stewy, Ender, Myself, and a few other climbers/significant others are headed to ROCKTOWN December 2nd. If anyone knows anything of significant, experiential or humorous value I would greatly appreciate a dialogue, or thread for my personal edification. Areas of interest: Weather conditions, Camping do's/don'ts, clothing suggestions, sustenance (i eat a lot), easy/gumby friendly areas (taking the girlfriend along, she climbs with intensity but lacks experience...as do i). PM's or replies would be grreeat. Make sure to use the new cover sheets...riight.

Thanks in advance, Soccerfast7 aka the "2 finger 2 pad pocket + proper motivation == no hands, no feet rest" guy

never eat at the Chinese restaurant!!! Bring a poop shovel. Camp at the top. Don't let your dogs off the leash when the ranger is around.

That is the cool kids weekend at rocktown, and I will be there, along with some others. Should be a good time!

Bring water, toilet paper, handi wipes, and Wild Turkey and you'll be fine. There will be more beta concerning the area that weekend than I think anyone will ever need.

longlegsrule, Nope. Not so psyched on the comps this year. And, above and beyond that, Ryan and Va are making their return to the SE that weekend. So, a bunch of people are going to be there. You all should come up Saturday night and hangout, then climb Sunday!
