About the climbing wall at Johnson center?
I just found out that as the spouse of a faculty member I can pay and get in. I just want to know if it's worth it.
Being feeble and of an advanced age ( health issues past me now ) I need a lot of training.
Any of ya know anything....
If its not crowded it can be alright. The one plus is that the staff is there to belay people, so you will always (depending on the number of people there) have a belayer.
In order to belay, you need to take a written test and practical test. It was kind of a pain, but fyi.
If you pay to get into the johnson center then working out on the wall and then hitting the weights is pretty good.
I would rather have a nice climbing gym that would keep me entertained for for more than an hour.
