Ironman out-of-towners

Post by cmercer »

I am not a climber, but I have several out of town friends who are. Many of them are coming in town(Louisville) for the Ironman race next summer and are already asking me about places to climb the week before the race. They are talking about places i've never been, besides RRG.
I would like to know either a good resource to send them, but preferably list of must do's to tell them about.
I certainly appreciate any feedback.

Send them to this website, and also to www.rrgcc.org
If they are coming to Louisville, then the obvious climbing destination for them shoud be the Red.

They can browse the online guidebook for routes at the Red: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... _index.php

For places outside of the Red, use rockclimbing.com and Google, with both of which I'm sure they're familiar.

Why are you not a climber? :?
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
