* AT 258 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SERIES OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN TRACKING FROM THE SOUTH INTO GRAND COUNTY.
* THE STORMS PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL IMPACT AREAS IN AND AROUND MOAB AND CASTLE VALLEY...AS WELL AS RURAL AREAS OF GRAND COUNTY.
MINOR RUNOFF FLOODING HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT IN SOME RURAL AREAS OF GRAND COUNTY. TRAINING OF ADDITIONAL STORMS OVER ALREADY SATURATED SOILS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS FLASH FLOODING. OF SLOT CANYONS...SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS... AND ACROSS ROADS.
