Lago Linda hideaway

Linda is a little bewildered as to why climbers are not paying their $5.00 per person per night camping fee. If you stay at Lago Linda hideaway, there is a drop off box at the 'camp store' building which is right next to the bathrooms, where you can drop off your camping fee if you don't run into Linda.

IMO $5.00 is the best price around considering all you get with that very small amount. Quite, free showers and running water, a lake to fish in, a shelter to cook and hang out in when it rains and a short 5 minute drive to the southern region.

Please respect her camping fees and pay.

since example of bad form are being used on the "torrent" thread....

Linda hosted the post fest during the Alex and Johnny Crag Day. She collected $45.00 in camp fees and was sure more people than that camped there. Plus she lost a picnic table. So that weekend actually COST here about $50.00.

PAY YOUR DAMN CAMPING FEES !!!!! It makes me sick when people do that, at Lindas, Miguels, Torrent or whatever. These people are not doing this for community service, they are trying to feed their families and make somewhat of a living. Go try and stay at Lil Abners or a cabin rental place for free and see how long before they call the cops. Respect is all it boils down to.

I thought her table got replaced. I will talk to the guilty party next time I see them. Charlie and Morgan can you all help me push that with him ?

Stealing campsites. Thanks John Long for glamorizing it and making it the "cool" thing to do for climbers.

Yep. I've spoken to the person in charge of destroying the picnic table..looks like the coalition gets to eat that cost. BTW he keeps saying he will replace it but no follow through. WE will replace it though.
