weekend I did manage to hike the Douglass
Trail and scramble up to the rockhouse (Now
posted and closed) with my G/F.
Some observations:
Touristas are still the most dangerous species in the Gorge!

I asked the fella jumaring up by the waterfall if he had climbed
Foxfire around the corner, and he said "Nah, we don't climb!"

Unfortunately, I had forgotten my usual trashbag in my pack, so the
normal picking up the detrious on the way back had to wait. I remember
when Bill Wade and I found a queen size matress at the last campground
before starting up the logging road to the climb ... Amazing !!!
I did finally got some more videos transcribed from VHS.
Be gentle on muh server and "SAVE AS" if you will ...
