Cabin for sale - price reduced!

Post by jameehubbard »

A couple of months ago I posted a cabin for sale near the Gorge, in Stanton. Due to the market trends and the fact that we now live out of state, the price has been drastically reduced to $69,900. If you are interested in knowing more about it after looking at the MLS information, please contact Jamee at 715-340-2270 and leave a message if I can't answer, or you can contact the realtor directly

Please click on the following link to see pics of the cabin: http://lurajustice.rhr.com/Consumer/Lis ... 1&Cookies=

Some basic information:
Only about a 10-15 minute drive to Natural Bridge/Nada Tunnel.
1-bedroom, 1 1/2 level loft (bedroom is entire upstairs), (exposed) post-and-beam construction cabin with open concept design; sits on about 1 & 3/4 acres; property is semi-secluded and about 60% forested; property bordered by creek (anchored firmly by large mature sycamore trees) on one side and by steep forest or treed border on all other sides; the cabin/house has been dramatically remodeled, with tile flooring & stone borders/thresholds downstairs, hardwood flooring upstairs; concrete countertop in bath and kitchen; new gooseneck faucets in bath and kitchen; custom open-face cabinets in kitchen with closed pantry; Vermont Castings hardwood stove heats entire house; all wood construction is locally grown and purchased, and all trim is new yellow poplar and custom designed and install by us (my husband is a master wood craftsman and concrete specialist); siding is unstained yellow poplar, purchased at a local sawmill and custom installed by us.

Appliances included: nearly new solid-surface whirlpool super-capacity range, refrigerator, and microwave.

Sliding glass door from bedroom opens to very large deck that sits directly on mountainside; other sliding glass door opens from living room to mountainside; awesome views from both doors of hardwood forest, ferns, trillium, jack-in-the pulpit, jewelweed, and tons of other wildflowers; lower yard by creek has built-in fire pit and large open area appropriate for volleyball, etc.; recently planted trees throughout non-forested areas to increase privacy and shade.
