19 Sep 2002, A day to remember

Post by Wes »

Yes, four years ago, Ray created this site from the ashes of climbky.com (which was an offshoot or kywilderness.com). Four years of flames, spray, slander, along with the good post here and there. ;)

Thanks Ray, this site is the source for many of my climbing partners, and many friends. So, even though some people might think of it as a cesspool, I am psyched to call it home. You and Michelle rule for putting up your own money, time, and office space to host this site.

We should commemorate by recalling the greatest threads ... or even the lamest. We should further that commmmemmmmoration with some festivities.

I've only been on the site for a year now but it has been a great diversion from work, life and other things which I have forgotten about.

Thanks to everyone who help me keep this thing chugging along. There are plenty of people who help with moderating, editing the guide, programming, and other things. Happy Birthday to us!
