The 2 children of one of our neighbors up the street have a nice new motorscooter to fly around the neighborhood with. They are probably around 10 and 14 years old and they are incredibly overweight. The older one is almost spherical. Funny, you can starve a child to death and have them taken away. Feed them to death and that's ok. Its a shame.

about half of the kids in my school are overweight. it is quickly becoming the norm. i read an article in the paper today that said that there are more overweight people on the planet than people who are starving.

My daughter, who is thin like her parents, very active and who eats a healthy diet (uh, plus lots of sweets) got accused by the school counselor of having an eating disorder... it was completely off base.
The fat kids parents aren't called in to talk about their overweight, lazy offspring because it isn't Politically Correct.
I don't get it.
