Exactly a month from today, Muir Valley will be hosting the third annual GATHERING (Greater Access To Help Everyone Rejoice In Nature's Goodness). Please mark your calendars and plan to join us during the trail day - September 23-24, 2006.

If you are interested in working in a particular function, please send me a pm/email (friends.of.muirvalley@gmail.com) to let us know your preference.

• Team Leader—Trail building etc. Advance planning. Knowledge of trail building techniques. Coordination of people and work tasks.

• Trail building

• Equipment operator—tractor, chain saws, weed eaters etc.

• Food service—Planning, acquiring supplies, preparing and serving lunch and dinner.

• Photography and videotaping

• Entertainment

• Registration, record keeping, communication follow-up

• Others

Also, if you have tools that you are willing to bring e.g. chain saws, weed eaters, hand tools for trail building, etc please let Rick know at rweber@accenttech.com. The no-ATVs-rule in the valley other than the MVNP ATV will be suspended for the day to allow use for communicating between teams and transporting tools & supplies, but please drive carefully and stay on the trails.

I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it this year - I'm committed to being in Ohio that weekend. Hope this one goes even better than the ones in the past have! Great job getting all of this + the newsletter together, Karla! You rock!

Sorry I won't make it this year. In Pennsylvania now and don't know when I'll be back to the gorge.

Have a great weekend and be safe!

I'll be there as long as school doesn't interfere...very likely unfortunately.

Am I parking and registering, Squeezie?
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
