Anyone know a good place to send my Mad Rock Flash's off for a resole? Looks like Mad Rock doesn't offer the service yet and I've heard mixed reviews on the effectiveness of the kits.

Flyin' Brian in Vegas- I'm pretty sure has good experience not only with resoles but the particular brand as well.

I have used Flyin' Brian on all my resoles and have never been disappointed. Granted, I've only sent my Mistrals to him.

The soles of my Huecos are coming off. Just delaminated. I'm wondering if its from leaving then in the truck all day in the heat. Anyone else seen this?

Rock and Resole have done my mad rocks twice with excellent results. They did a great job on my sportivas as well.

Yeah, it's hard to do a good resole with a kit. You really need a belt sander, a long, thin, sharp knife, and experience. The Barge cement out of a tube is ok, but it isn't what the pros use, and it will delaminate no matter who uses it. Everyone's first resole looks like crap - so do it on a pair of shoes that you don't really care about - someone elses. But it's a good skill to have so you might want to try it. Mad rock rubber is so soft and sticky that you can probably wear out your resole before the sole falls off. And most of the crappy-looking appearance of your first resole attempt won't affect how they climb.

Heh heh. Did you mean "retread" or "retard" or, since it is ynot did you actually mean "retrad."
