So now that I sit in front of computer more than climb, I have found time for some interesting projects. I got excited about the google maps API and started playing with it.
So I built an interactive map with all the areas I have climbed at around the world.
Check it out and play with it:

note: Since I designed this for myself, and not a client, I made it for a larger screen so if you have a small moniter it might be harder to use.

Cool Things you can do with the above toy:
-Switch to satellite mode, choose or navigate to Little Rock City, TN , Zoom in as far as you can. You can see the boulders along the edge of the Golf course.
This trick works for a bunch of areas that have high res satellite photos incliding the happys and the sads in bishop. the structure in Marymoore park is also cool. In Joshua Tree you can see the cars in the campground at Hidden Valley. If you could zoom in one more time you could probably see the climbers.
-It is also cool to see how the density of climbing areas is directly related to the mountain ranges in the us.
-if you want to see why Switzerland has such good climbing you can switch to satellite mode and take a look.
Can anyone guess which areas I used as the lat and long for the red?

i like the way you implemented yours, nice job! how'd you go about getting all the GPS coords? i ended up zooming in using Google Earth and following roads/directions to the destinations. PITA, really.

nice neuroshock. it is cool you made one too!!!
maybe adjust your initial zoom level so you can see everything on the first page. you can pass a zoom level on the click and still get the desired zoom level from the left nav.
