I feel both when I look at this
lust and materialism are evil
if fast=lust, check this out:

Nothing but what makes a car go, turn and stop (and a couple of mirrors and lights to make them street legal). With the top of the line engine (a production Honda 4 cylinder - I'm not kidding!) the biggest limitation on 0-60 time is how fast you can shift!
The Atom driving experience:

Watch an 'automotive journalist' run out of words and just go 'woooooooooooooo'!

0-60 in about 3.1 seconds, 0-100 in about 6.9, 0-100-0 in about 11 seconds. Comparable for the top-of-the-line Ford GT: 0-60: 3.9 sec., 0-100: 8.5 sec., 0-100-0: 13.2 seconds - still freakin fast!
The GT does have the Atom beat on a few points: it four seats and somewhere to put some groceries, oh, and a roof...
I think the 'old guy' in Sandy's photo is Carroll Shelby, himself! As for looks, I like the old (original?) Shelby Cobras more than any of the GTs:

From Kentucky ;o)
If you're going to spend the $$ for the Mustang (which incidentally, I do like the new body style MUCH better than anything since the 70's), you might as well get this:
Sarcasm is a tool the weak use to avoid confrontation. People with any balls just outright lie.
