Hey everyone,
Mark Meyers (owner of Torrent Falls) would be real happy if the names of some specific routes were changed. He would love to show his friends and family the guidebook, which shows record of the routes on his property, but it's kind of embarassing for him with the current route names. Especially for his kids to see and show their friends.

So to honor his wish I guess I'll do my part and refer to them in the online guide as something else. The FA's said it was cool (as far as I know) so..........

Here are the route names which he would like changed:

Sex Show
Pocket Pussy
Poopie Head
Stool Sample
Rectal Exorcism
Ode to Poopie Head

I guess just post the names and we'll figure out the best ones with a vote or something.

So is the current guidebook going to be reprinted with all of the new names? Or is he just going to use the online guide as a reference?

I don't think Poopie Head or Ode to is that offensive. If it is maybe Pie Head would work since it conserves the last 3 letters and roughly conveys the same meaning.

I heard Mark talking about this a while ago. I personally agree with him considering its his land, and how nice he has been to climbers. As far as names go I could only imagine the types of names some of the people on this board could come up with, and I don't think these names would be any better. Any way, I think the names should have a theme.

You could change Sex Show to "You Can't Handle the Truth!", and Pocket Pussy to "The Truth" or vice versa....you know, to go along with "Seek the Truth" and start a whole "Truth" theme wall.....ok, I will put my helmet on and get back on the short bus now.

Maybe the best way to go about this is for people to suggest themes first,
then if a theme can be somewhat agreed upon, we could all start coming up with more suitable names.

If the routes MUST be renamed than just abreviate them. Sex Show would be SS, etc. Preserves the original name and cleans them up all at the same time.

Not a bad idea.
