Miguel's Pizza in New Zealand??

As I walked out of the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Auckland, New Zealand Tuesday night, a familiar face with billowing hair smiled at me from the back of a sweatshirt. I recognized the Miguel's logo in an instant (as did my belly)!

aukland, huh?.. north island.. and we have miguel's forty-five minutes down the road. yep, sounds like we've got the better end of the deal.

Kiwis do alot of things well but not pizza.
Their pizza however, is infineitly better then their mexican food.
I one ordered nachos and got a plate of dorritos topped with baked beans.

Yeah, we are missing El Camino Real something fierce. But the Asian food kicks all!

Yeah man. There's a thai/burmese place in Christchurch that I still dream about.
