Car Camping

Post by p0bray01 »

Hey my friend and I are planning on camping a little at the Red next week and were wondering if any place (Miguels Etc) allowed you to just sleep in your car? I realize that there may be a fee but are there any campgrounds that just let you sleep in your SUV? Thanks

2 a night at miguels, for years all I did was sleep in my car at Mig's. Much quieter.

Yeah, that works. It's quieter up front.
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

You can get a night pass for 3$ at True North Outfitters.

Thanks for all the help. Ok a couple of other questions. Where is True North outfitters? And I thought Lago Linda was more of like a cabin type thing...never been there...but sounds cool. Thanks!!!

Lago Linda has campsites with drinking water, picknic tables, and fire pits. Plus, they have a bath house with 4 toilets, 4 sinks and two showers. They also have a large cement slab that is covered and has about 10 picknic tables and a gas grill. It is $5 a day for climbers. It's near the Southern Region, but about 15 miles from Miguel's.
