How did Ro Shampo manage to get it's name? Yes, I know, really random question. I just finished a drawing of it, and wondered. Anybody know?

It's Ro Shampo in the guide book. But that could be what it really is.

One of the guidebooks specifically states that "Ro Shampo" is the correct spelling, not the French-looking one. I don't know if it's Ray's, Johnny's, or a previous one.

maybe it's the mis-spelling "rochambeaux" which means a fight or challenge

I have a french dictionary here, and I could only find "Ro" which is the abriviation for "recto" which means "right side" I can't find Shampo.

originally it was called "ray's shampoo". back in the day, ray had crabs and was trying to get rid of them using an anti-lice pubic hair shampoo. nothing worked until he got the fa of this route in the nude. as the story goes, the crabs were gone after that. something about that route seemed to kill them off.. if you look near the crux, you can still see some of his pubic hair in the bolt.
