My fingernail that is. A few weeks ago I caught my finger in a door and squashed it good. I had to go to work so like an idiot I didn't stick a needle in it to drain off the blood. The nails fallen off and my Doc, she says she doesn't think the nail'l grow back ( damn it ). Anyone else get around without one? Do you just tape it up and call it good or what?

I broke my little toe last summer and that tore off my nail. It didn't grow back until about 9 months later. Have hope, man! I taped it until it healed.

I don't even have any purple left to grow out.
It all washed down the sink.

I lost a toenail a few years back. It did grow back, but it was quite some.
I wore my grandbuddies cool little Bandaids (Alan, imagine trademark symbol) with cartoon characters on them while it grew out.

Mine have always grown back, sometimes it takes time.

Hell, I cut half my thumb off and it grew back. The nerves didn't in one spot though. It feels creepy.
