buddha slept

Post by drifter »

What sort of gear is needed to climb buddha slept? Draws + a single set of tcus? Do I need anything bigger? I only ask because I think this is the sole gear route I'm going to do on this trip.

Cheers,

I would also bring some small nuts, and a .75, 1, and 2 BD. Its a good route! Have fun.

The crux is at the beginning and is bolt protected. The middle section is a cake walk that flows well and protects nicely. There is one long fingery move in the dihedral up high and you might want a small tcu for that part. From there you can reach left to clip the anchors on "Triple Sec" (aka 50 Bucks). Or continue up a short dirty chimney to a ledge with anchors on the right.
