Anyone keeping up with South Park's continued pushing of the boundaries? On the last show, Family Guy was responsible for widespread panic because they were supposed to show Muhammed but it was censored. Now, supposedly they were going to do it again and this time the network couldn't say no. Will this episode be continued next week or "will Comedy Central puss out?" They already pussed out by not replaying the Scientology episode (curse you Tom Cruise!). Any thoughts? I personally wish they'd do an episode giving Jerry Falwell a late term abortion with a Pope plunger, fasting Buddha wire hanger, and Muhammed shaped enema kit. But that's just me.

I never watched the show until the controversy about the Scientology episode. Saw it on the web and then the next show where chief comes back from the "Super Adventure Club". Hilarious stuff!! It's mind-boggling what some of the "Actual Beliefs" are of many religions/cults. People are so gullible.

To me religion is based on faith, to deny that other religions have their place and legitimacy is no longer faith based but belief based, that has always been my trouble with Islam, any time man thinks he can explain the nature of God with human descriptions it becomes an idealogy, when a Muslim mullah spouts their disgusting hatred toward the west or Judaism it completely corrupts their basis, Islam is not a religion it is an idealogy, it can be used by governments/clerics to demand allegiance through its absolute nature, but faith has no absolute associated with it, with faith you don't desire virgins but another level of relationship that you find in the things that make life worth living, I can find God in things of pleasure and comfort, I cannot find Him through the fear of having not been to a particular prayer service

I recently heard an explanation that while in English an idea can have several words defining it, an Arabic word could be used to express various ideas. One of the reasons it should be read in Arabic. Maybe one of the reasons it can be misused.

isn't French the language of diplomacy because it can be misread so easily whereas German is a more concise definition style language that lends itself to science quite readily- anyone heard that before?
