Wanted: Big cams and big bros

Post by haas »

Do you have a big bro that your spouse got you for Christmas and you still haven't looked at the instructions on how to use it? Or how about that #5 camalot you used once on the Inhibitor but now it collects dust in the closet? I'm looking for anything equivalent to a #4.5 camalot and up.

I now live extremely close to Vedauwoo, the offwidth capital and am hooked on it. I thought I had enough big gear until this past week when I tried freeing a new line in Indian Creek (Utah) and realized that it takes a ton of big f*cking gear to get up splitter offwidths there and they seem to just go on and on. I can only bump a big piece for so long...

So if you have some pro and don't want it anymore, I'd be psyched to take it off your hands. I'd be real interested in trading, especially for you sporties, I have a nice grigri barely ever used, a brand new 60meter Monster rope with rope bag still in the plastic. Also have some other random stuff, Medium Mentor harness (never used), full set of Metolius nuts and a bunch of other random stuff. I'd be willing to buy some too, but I can prodeal gear so the price would have to be right. PM me if you are interested

Do you want the biggest yellow bro? I rarely use it. Been placed twice.
I could use a new rope if its not fat.

Ynot, I'm shocked you of all people would want to give up a big bro. I'd trade, but I just traded the rope to another guy before I read your post, sorry. Anything else you'd be interested in? How about a ton of locking biners, brand new, no scratches, just some ID markings? Or a grigri, that's always easier to pawn off then a big bro

Friggin thing is just to big and heavy to pack. I think it weighs as much as the rest of the rack. The green and blue ones are the shizz tho. If you get enough stuff together come on back here and we'll do Yuck and a couple other things I found.

sounds like a plan man. I'm leaning heavily towards coming back to the Red for the summer. I'm psyched!
