Looking for a used weight bench. Would prefer a Bowflex type machine due to space factors but would consider something else. We just want a system with a decent amount of smooth flowing exercises and that can handle the height/body difference of Ames and I. Pm if you have one or know someone that may.
Thanks
Matt

Dude, you just need a chin/dip station, a few resistance bands, a medicine ball, and a few dumb bells. You can do crazy cool workouts with just those things. Even when I go to LAC or golds, I only use less then 1% of the equipment. I can hook you all up with a workout that will crush you, 35 minutes long, and targets everything you need.

Will do, no problem.RRO wrote:Cool, show me. Still want some new equipment. When we had access to one in Lexington we used it often.
A pull up / dip station would be the best / only real piece of equipment you would need. Then just some odds and ends.

I spent a couple months with a personal trainer a couple years ago, and still have all the routines (10 or so, with maybe 50+ exercises), more then enough to keep you all busy for a while. Good stuff. I am not a fan of machines, they don't work the supporting muscles enough.
I lifted most of my life, but once I stopped with the weights, and started with the body weight, callisthenic type exercises, I noticed positive changes. Plus, I think those kinda workouts translate to climbing gains much better then weight training does.
