Apartment Available in Lexington

Post by Yasmeen »

My apartment will be available in Lexington after this month (or sooner if need be). If anyone is interested, or knows someone who is interested, or knows someone who knows someont who is interested, here are the stats:

It is the upper story of a house on a quiet, dead-end street. Your neighbors are *fantastic*, you are within walking distance of Good Foods Coop and Marikka's Pub.

2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, kitchen with new refrigerator (and great stove), large living room. Brand new windows and carpet were put in right before I moved in (August 2005). You pay for the utilities (electric, not gas, and my bills for the past two months have been $35. I keep it at 60 degrees, though. If you wanted to crank it to 74 degrees, it would be $80, as I learned the hard way), since your water is heated by the gas from downstairs, I worked out a deal with the girl who lives there that I would pay 30% of her bill. If you think this is unfair, you could re-negotiate with her. You have a fenced-in backyard, and would have to talk with the landlord about pets, since I didn't keep any. Parking is in the driveway or on the street, and there's always plenty.

You get all this for $475/month, which is way below anything else I could find for all that I get.

I have 4 months left on my lease, and you could either finish my lease out, or start your own 6 or 12 month lease. Let me know-- it's a great opportunity!

ynot's gain, my loss!

It is a great apartment!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Thanks for the backup, Dipsi! :) It is indeed a great apartment. If I could pick it up and move it to Cincy with me, I would. I hope I can pass it on to someone.

I think I've given my parents the house-search bug, though-- they're out touring new listings right now. :D

Ah, Yassel, so you found somebody short?
