Man this school shit is a pain in the ass! I haven't even started yet, and it's pissin me off. Nothing is simple and i can't get a straight answer out of anyone i talk to about financial aid. I had the climbin thing down, and i had to go and think that i wanted somethin more. BULLSHIT! I'll be surprised if i make through one semester without hittin some college meathead upside the domepiece with my #6 tri-cam. Kinda reminds me why i dropped out in the first place. Maybe I'll be back to the red sooner than i thought.

Stick to it, Keenan. It's totally a pain in the ass but worth it. I graduated at 25 and, although I just barely made it through, my degree has opened more doors for me than not.
Good luck!

Just become a professional thief. Pay is better, it's more fun, and your climbing skills carry over somewhat.

listen to artsay man. i hated school, too, and did just enough to skate by with the papers. and in the end, that's all that matters: the papers. as sad and superficial as they might be, they open a lot of doors and are required for even more. for some position they aren't even allowed to consider you if you don't have a degree.. for instance, if you're a subcontractor for the gov, many of the contracts require that the people working on the job have those little letters after their name.
it sucks but stay with it.. it's over soon. i swear..

I'm going for the world's record for most years taken to get a degree. Going on 8 now...
At this point anything that causes me a delay in graduating is considered evil and must be destroyed.

Yea, school sucks. All these dumb*** kids trying to get finacial aid have no clue what they are doing. The only way I can keep from going nuts, is to give them stupid answers to their stupid questions.
Actually school was really fun and I wish I was still there, but instead I am still in school teaching punk kids.

Shool is somtimes a pain, but it is worth it. Believe me, Now that I've been out for a few years I miss it. I am actually considereing going back for more punishment.
Plus being a student has fringe benefits, like access to the on campus climbing gym.
And while I personally can't do anything about it, spring on campus is a beautiful thing.

You could call my wife as she's a financial aid counselor at a university. PM me if interested.
